How escrow works for Advertisers

Escrow is the part of SponsR that protects both you and the Creator. Funds you commit don't go to SponsR — they're held by a licensed payment provider until the work is done.

What happens, step by step

1. You accept a Bid. The licensed payment provider captures your payment from the card you chose. SponsR never touches your money.
2. The Creator delivers. They post the content (or send drafts, if your Campaign has draft-approval steps).
3. You approve. The funds release to the Creator, less SponsR's commission. The Creator's wallet is credited and they can request a withdrawal.
4. If you don't approve within 2 days, the Order auto-completes and funds release as if you'd approved. This protects Creators against silent ghosting; it's not a punishment.

What if the work isn't right?

You have two paths:

• Ask for fixes. Use the Order chat. Many issues are small and resolved in a message or two.
• File a dispute. If the deliverables genuinely don't match the Campaign description, open a dispute from the Order chat. Funds are frozen while we review. See How to file a dispute.

Verification rules for Advertisers

For Bids under 500 GEL, you only need email + phone verified. For Bids of 500 GEL or more, you'll need to complete identity verification before you can accept. This is for our compliance with Georgian anti-money-laundering rules.

What if my card declines?

If the payment provider can't capture the funds (declined card, insufficient balance, etc.), no Order forms. The Bid stays open and you can try again with a different payment method.

SponsR is not a regulated escrow agent

We don't hold funds ourselves; the licensed payment provider does, under their own terms. We provide the rails, the chat, the dispute system, and we charge a commission only when an Order completes.
